The Margabandhu Stotram is a celebrated devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Shiva in his manifestation as Margabandhu —the "Friend of the Path." Composed in the 16th century by the illustrious scholar and philosopher Appayya Deekshithar , this stotram is a prayer for divine companionship and safety.
